MCPAP Data

MCPAP is currently covering 96% of children throughout the state of Massachusetts.

As of November of 2008, MCPAP has had more than 32,000 encounters with primary care clinicians involving 9,432 patients since MCPAP's (Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Project) inception in September of 2004.

More than 1050 PCPs and 360 nurse practitioners in 344 practices throughout Massachusetts are enrolled providers with MCPAP.

Satisfaction data (N=244) shows that PCPs participating in MCPAP report substantial improvement in their ability to meet the psychiatric needs of children and adolescents in their practices since participating in MCPAP.
